Please note that any data transmission on the Internet (e.g. communication by e-mail) can have security gaps. Therefore, complete protection of data against third parties access isn’t possible. It is not permitted to use any contact data that we publish due to imprint regulation for sending unsolicited advertising or information material. Purposes and legal basis of data processing
We collect your data for the purpose of processing your request. Your data will be collected on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1e.
Recipient of personal data
In order to adress your query we transfer your personal data to those staff members at SUB that are in charge to handle your query.
Transfer of personal data to other countries
We do not intend to transfer any personal data to other countries.
Storage duration of personal data
We will store your data to provide the requested services. As soon as we have delivered our services or you ask for your data to be deleted, we’ll store your data only until all current processes have been completed. It will then be deleted unless legal requirements demands longer storage.

According to the EU general data protection regulation (GDPR), you have the following rights: If your personal data is processed, you have the right to receive information about the data stored about you (Art. 15 GDPR). If incorrect personal data is processed, you have the right to have it corrected (Art. 16 GDPR). Information, Deletion, Blocking
You have the right to receive information free of charge at any time about your stored personal data, its origin and recipients and the purpose of data processing, as well as the right to correct, block or delete this data. For this purpose, as well as for further questions regarding personal data, you can contact us at any time via the website operator's address given in the imprint.
Statistical data for website operators
Our website uses the open source software MATOMO for statistical analysis of visitor access. MATOMO is configured in accordance with data protection, all data is stored anonymously. "Session cookies" used for this purpose are text files stored on your computer to enable an analysis of website use. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is stored on a protected server of the university’s computing centre GWDG. Your IP address is anonymised immediately after processing and before saving. MATOMO collects data in anonymised form to improve our service. IP addresses are stored in MATOMO without the last tuple. We can identify the network of a query, but not an individual computer.
These "session cookies" contain no personal data and expire at the end of the session. We do not use tracing software such as Java applets or Active-X controls.
In detail, the following data is stored for each access/retrieval:
